What an amazing journey these 100 episodes have been! I am thrilled to have you here and so grateful for listeners who have been here since day one and those who are just joining us. Today’s episode is a little different. Normally we are all about business, sales, and entrepreneurship, but there’s more to bringing in money than you might think.

Throughout my life, I’ve learned some really important lessons and they all impacted my relationship with money, my level of happiness, and my mindset. By impacting those parts of me, these lessons have also led to my success as a business owner and by sharing them, my clients are also experiencing success.

You never know who needs to hear what you have to say. I hope this episode touches your heart, motivates you to level up, and inspires you to stick around for another 100 episodes.

Show Notes:

[2:47] - Elyse is speaking from the heart today and sharing five life lessons for this 100th episode celebration.

[3:27] - The first is “All the money in the world does not matter if you are not happy.” With her clients, Elyse works on relationships with money.

[5:02] - Money will not make you happy. It is very helpful and of course we want a lot of it, but searching for money to make you happy is not how it works.

[6:04] - A lot of the clients that Elyse works with are high achievers who put a lot of pressure on themselves to earn more money each month.

[7:01] - From experience, Elyse shares that working harder to make more money each month does not create happiness. She had to do a lot of work with a coach to help change her relationship with money.

[8:03] - The reason we want certain things is because of how we think we will feel once we have them, but you can create that happiness from within.

[9:37] - We need to learn how to discipline our minds and our thoughts to create thoughts that make us feel happy about our lives.

[11:14] - Elyse poses high level, thought-provoking questions that will challenge how you view your happiness and relationship with money.

[12:37] - The second lesson is “You can heal anything.”

[13:34] - Elyse shares how she used to view how she helped clients and how she has shifted her mindset for more meaningful results in something she’s passionate about: healing.

[15:12] - We all have trauma that has developed core wounds. How does this affect us as adults?

[16:18] - Elyse describes her experience with inner-child work that she has done that she was skeptical about initially but that turned out to be extremely transformative.

[17:44] - If you want to take your business to the next level, you have to do the healing work.

[18:37] - Elyse believes that we are all given experiences in order to learn lessons from them later.

[19:40] - A lot of Elyse’s problems in life have been caused by not trusting her body. Having lived through an eating disorder, a miscarriage, and sexual assault, she has had a lot of healing to do.

[20:49] - She never thought she would heal from these experiences, but Elyse is confident that you can heal anything.

[22:01] - The third lesson Elyse provides is about money. If you want to bring in more, focus on how you show up. Level yourself up.

[23:16] - Filter everything through the lens of the person who shows up the right way and the money will follow. There isn’t a perfect playbook.

[24:33] -The fourth lesson has been so healing for Elyse: Be yourself. Don’t gloss over on this one.

[26:07] - You have to buy into yourself before others buy into you. Elyse shares something that she had been afraid to share about herself in her career.

[27:46] - As Elyse has learned to shift her relationship with God as her first go-to rather than a last resort, everything has changed for the better.

[29:03] - For those who may be afraid to be open about something, take a scroll through Instagram for like-minded profiles and see how they are crushing it.

[31:10] - There are unexpected benefits of showing up and saying what you believe because you never know who needs to hear it.

[32:34] - Above all, Elyse’s fifth lesson is to focus on love.

[33:38] - “What would love do now?” Filtering through this lens will solve it all.

[34:57] - When we shift into the creative plane from the competitive plane, you are in an abundance mindset.

[36:20] - We’ve got so many exciting things coming up with powerhouse guests. Elyse encourages you to suggest a guest that would be great to have on the show.

[37:37] - Never hesitate to reach out to Elyse as she loves to hear how an episode impacts you.
